Why Schools Partner with Splatter Learning
We help elementary schools deliver high-quality STEAM instruction without adding work for classroom teachers.
Built by educators. Designed for real classrooms.
Splatter Learning was founded on a simple belief: STEAM instruction should be engaging for students and manageable for schools.
Many elementary schools want to provide meaningful STEAM learning but face real constraints—limited staff capacity, tight schedules, and competing instructional priorities. Splatter Learning exists to bridge that gap by delivering hands-on STEAM instruction that fits seamlessly into the school day.
Our programs are designed to support—not disrupt—classroom instruction.
Instructional quality comes first.
Unlike enrichment providers or one-time assemblies, Splatter Learning delivers instructional STEAM programs led by credentialed educators with experience in elementary classrooms.
We prioritize:
Thoughtful lesson design aligned to grade-level standards
Clear structure and predictable delivery
High expectations for student engagement and learning
Every decision we make—from lesson length to class size to program scope—is grounded in what works best for students and schools.
Credentialed educators you can trust.
Our in-school STEAM instruction is taught by credentialed teachers who understand elementary learners, classroom management, and instructional pacing. After-school programs are led by trained educators who follow the same instructional philosophy and quality standards.
Schools partner with us because they know:
Instruction will be age-appropriate
Classrooms will be well-managed
Lessons will be purposeful and engaging
We do not send volunteers, scripts, or kits—we send educators.
A partner schools can rely on.
Splatter Learning works closely with school leaders to design programs that align with their goals, schedules, and student needs. We handle planning, materials, and instruction so schools can focus on what they do best, supporting students and staff.
Our most successful partnerships are built on:
Clear expectations
Consistent communication
Programs that scale across classrooms and grade levels
Whether serving a single school or multiple sites, our approach remains thoughtful, organized, and professional.
Serving elementary schools and districts.
We partner with:
Elementary schools (TK–6) in Orange County and Los Angeles Counties in southern California
Principals and assistant principals
District curriculum and instructional leaders
PTAs supporting school-wide programming
Programs are customized based on school size, grade levels, and instructional priorities.
Why schools return year after year.
Schools continue working with Splatter Learning because our programs:
Deliver meaningful learning—not just activities
Respect teachers’ time and expertise
Are easy to implement and manage
Adapt to the evolving needs of schools
Our goal is not to run a single event, but to become a trusted STEAM partner.

A short story about us
Lisa Prins is the founder and owner of Splatter Learning LLC. She has dedicated 11 years to teaching at the elementary level and has spent the last 4 years as a STEAM teacher in Los Alamitos Unified. Recognizing a gap in access to STEAM and makerspace classes for all students, she noted that not everyone can benefit from these opportunities due to funding limitations. Lisa believes that this is the direction of future careers, and she infuses creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit into every classroom she interacts with. We have expanded from a two-teacher model to now include 5 teachers (and still growing!).
