Bringing STEAM to Life Through
Creativity, Curiosity, and Innovation

Splatter Learning is on a mission to bring joyful, accessible STEAM learning to every elementary school by providing innovative curriculum, passionate educators, and all the tools needed to spark student creativity and curiosity.

We specialize in hands-on, standards-aligned STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) experiences that engage young learners through real-world challenges and the Engineering Design Process. From cardboard inventions to coding robots, our lessons empower students to imagine, design, test, and refine—building both skills and confidence.

All of our STEAM educators are currently CA credentialed and have completed a LiveScan background check. This provides schools with the opportunity to offer teachers release/planning time. While teachers don't have to stay, often times they do because they want to see the amazing things their students are learning!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is STEAM?

STEAM integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics for hands-on education.

Who are the educators?

Our team consists of five credentialed educators experienced in delivering engaging STEAM curriculum in schools. We all have 10+ years of teaching experience!

What supplies are included?

We provide all necessary tech and supplies for each program, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience for students.

Where do you operate?

We serve elementary schools in Orange and Los Angeles County.

How many classes can we teach in one day?

We can teach up to 7 classes in one day depending on the schedule. They can be of various grades too.

Do we need a separate space to teach?

While having a dedicated classroom, MPR, or space is ideal, we realize schools don't always have that luxury! We can just as easily travel from room to room and we have our own carts to do this. If we are using 3D pens, that is the one thing that requires a space because it takes awhile to set-up/take down.

How do I get started?

Send us an email at info@splatterlearning.com and we can schedule a call or figure out next steps via email.

A short story about us

Lisa Prins is the founder and owner of Splatter Learning LLC. She has dedicated 11 years to teaching at the elementary level and has spent the last 4 years as a STEAM teacher in Los Alamitos Unified. Recognizing a gap in access to STEAM and makerspace classes for all students, she noted that not everyone can benefit from these opportunities due to funding limitations. Lisa believes that this is the direction of future careers, and she infuses creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit into every classroom she interacts with. We have expanded from a two-teacher model to now include 5 teachers (and still growing!).
